Samsung microwave control panel does not respond
Clean the control panel, and then try to restart the power. If the panel doesn’t work, it is time to call for service.
Clean up the control panel: It is possible that the panel does not respond because it cannot detect your finger. Wipe the panel with a damp cloth, then dry it. Test again.
Check that you are pressing the buttons correctly: Some microwaves feature capacitive touch screens. Be sure to use a clean finger when touching the buttons on these microwaves. If there isn’t enough contact area, the button might not work. Buttons shouldn’t require too much force to be pressed. Call us if you need service; buttons only function when you use excessive force.
